在口语中，who、that这类代词有时省略 What is it you want me to do ? 你要我做得是什么？ It was you I thought of all the time. 我一直牵挂的人是你。 Was it in 1980 this happened ? 这事是1980年发生的吗？ 可数名词复数 规则变化： 一般在词尾加-s 以字母s,x,sh,ch结尾的名词，加-es 以辅音字母+y结尾的，变y为i加-es 以元音字母+y的，直接加-s 以f, fe结尾的名词，变f, fe为v加-es 以字母o结尾的，有生命的加-es,没生命的加-s holiday [ˈhɑːlədeɪ] n. 假期；假日the winter holiday 寒假take a holiday 度假 the school/summer/Christmas, etc. holidays学校假期、暑假、圣诞节等假期 word [wɜːrd] 单词；词 Eg: Do not write more than 200 words. Eg: Tell me what happened in your own words. Eg: Could I have a private/quick word with you? Eg: I don’t believe a word of his story. 短语拓展: 遵守诺言keep your word. 有些否定句和疑问句也可改成这种强调结构 直到去年我才收到她的信。 I didn’t hear from her until last year. It’s still not possible to accurately predict the occurrence(发生) of earthquakes.
